ERDOĞAN SHOULD ANNOUNCE ON WHICH ISSUES THEY ARE COLLABORATING WITH THE US?

1. Regarding the coming visit of US President Barack Obama to Turkey in April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan said “The major priorities of two countries in foreign affairs completely coincide” and added that “The US overtly wants to work together with Turkey”.

2. Within the priorities of the United States of America, there is the occupation of countries on the pretext of fighting against terrorism. Within the priorities of the US, there is the control of energy resources. Within the priorities of the US, there is the effort to get out of the swamp in which she is foundered in Iraq and Afghanistan. Within the priorities of the US, there is the imposition of Israeli expansionism to the Palestinian people. Within the priorities of the US, there is the endeavor to inflict the consequences of the economic crisis on other countries. Within the priorities of the US, there is the attempt to abolish progressive political powers such as those in Cuba and Venezuela. Within the priorities of the US, there is the deepening of injustice and inequalities in the world, and impoverishing the poor while prospering the rich more. Within the priorities of the US, there is the intension to settle in the Black Sea. Within the priorities of the US, there is the plan to launch an attack on Iran, to contain the People’s Republic of China and Russia.

3. Saying that the priorities of Turkey completely coincide with the those of the US, Minister of Foreign Affairs Babacan mentioned the name of North Korea as well and said “This country did not fall into our area of interest in the past, but Turkey is now interested in these issues”. Within the priorities of the US, there is also the effort to bring the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to her knees that has been struggling to resist the threats of the US. After half a century has passed over the Korean War, which we took part so as to become a member of the NATO that has dealt heavy blows on our independence, Turkey is looking for her disaster on America’s coat tails once again.

4. Instead of playing the “hero of Davos” in public demonstrations, the Prime Minister shall first clarify the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. On which issues Turkey will help the US? Which matters will be discussed in detail during Obama’s visit and in which bloody operations will Turkey take part?

5. The Communist Party of Turkey is determined to fight against all sorts of Americanism in Turkey. We would like to remind the problem to those who perceive the issue as the tension between America and Turkey: the US is not and cannot be the friend of our people. The friends of the US are the parasites, the traitors and the tyrants of this country. The friends of the US are those pillaging our country, those exploiting the laborers. The entire history of the US, which is responsible from the developments that recently caused the grave sufferings of Palestinian, Iraqi, Afghani and Yugoslavian people, is the history of injustice and barbarity. The crimes committed by the US in Turkey are not petty either.

6. The ongoing participation of Turkey in the crimes and murders of the US is not acceptable. What befits the dignity of our people is to follow the path of the Vietnamese people and the Cuban revolutionaries who drove the Yankees away from their countries, to carry the flag of independence raised by our Iraqi fellows resisting the US, to act in real, not fake, solidarity with Palestine that rises against Israeli aggression.

7. Our word to those Ottoman wannabes, who suppose that Turkey would become a large empire as she chases the US, is this: what you dream of is the annihilation of Turkey. The actual owner of this country, the toiling masses, will never allow this.
